Barefoot Brooklyn is a group for minimally shod and barefoot runners of all levels of experience. Our group is in it for the sheer fun of running--and it is, when you're barefoot! See our "About" page (linked just below this text) for a few tips and some resources to help get you started. We're just getting the ball rolling, so all suggestions and ideas are welcome. If you are curious about barefoot running, but not ready to kick off your shoes, feel free to join us in your sneakers.

Some of our activities are FREE, some benefit animal rescues and some are more formal training and dog sports related classes. SUGGEST activities, playgroups and events you'd like to see! This group offers the chance to meet other literary Anglophiles and discuss the best writing from across the pond. We'll start with some mid-20th century classics by Kingsley Amis and Graham Greene, but I'm open to Brit lit of any era and genre. It should be a bloody good time.
